M.A.M.E. （Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator）複合式大型電玩模擬器是一款設計非常完善的模擬器，它支援了許多種類的遊戲，免除玩家們玩某種遊戲的檔案需要特定模擬器的煩惱。其Windows版本不僅操作簡單，功能也非常多樣化，而且每個月都會推出許多新支援的遊戲，因此廣受玩家的喜愛。在這裡所介紹的遊戲都是一些早期在遊樂場所受到大家歡迎的，它們有的或許年代已經久遠，但是在當時所帶給玩家們的樂趣卻是永遠無法磨滅的。在小時候，最喜歡和爸媽到高雄的大統百貨公司頂樓上遊玩，當然目的都是那些大型電玩，那時的電玩只是設計純粹消遣時間，所以通常是不太需要用到大腦的動作遊戲，但卻都創意十足且有趣，只要一打就可以玩很久。不像現在的大型電玩都是靠誇張的畫面和數不清的子彈從玩家的荷包賺取補習費。印象中有名的大型電玩有小精靈、迷魂車、烏玆衝鋒槍、雙截龍、瘋狂爬梯者和小蜜蜂等等。這裡沒有啥ＫＯＦ９９或２０００、也沒有越南大戰或快打旋風ＥＸ，有的只是我的....也可能是你的美好回憶！
